The Texas Lost Pines Riding Club (TLPRC) was established in 1969 by a group of people with a common goal to provide their children with a fun and safe environment in which to enjoy their horses.  Currently, TLPRC has about 100 members ranging from individual to family memberships.  We offer 4 different levels of membership:   

1. Individual
2. Family
3. Playday
4. Annual Inactive

We also host events the 2nd weekend July in conjunction with Elgin Western Days.  These events are:   

1. 4D Barrel Race
2. Team Roping
3. Team Sorting

Our club also produces the annual "Original Elgin Rodeo" the 4th weekend in July each year.  This includes the Tri-County Team Roping and a 4D Barrel Race. 

Other Events

• 4D Barrel Races - We host 6 to 8 of these per year and practice nights throughout the fall and winter into early spring.
• Team Ropings - Four to Six per year.
• Team Sortings - Six to eight per year with multiple practice events and clinics.
• Trail Rides - including charity events.
• Parades
• Elgin Lighted Parade
• Clinics

Club members have access to the arena anytime it is not in use for events.





TLPRC also donates the use of our arena to the Elgin FFA for their annual Rodeo event heal each October.  We also donate use of the arena to the Lost Pines Cowboy Church for clinics, playday's and other faith based events.
